Slot cars have been around since the early 1900s. They are the predecessor of remote control cars we see today. Much like model trains, slot cars are used in miniature town models. There are a heap of Lamborghini Slot cars as well as RC cars. Unlike regular toy cars, underneath slot car carriages, there is a thin blade-like appendage that slides into the groove of the track it will be moving on. Then, using a low voltage controller that determines speed, breaking, and in some cases steering, the slot cars are raced around a track by enthusiasts.
